This MA programme arises from of a long-standing tradition of research and teaching related to conflict issues and human rights at Utrecht University. It is the only MA in Conflict Studies and Human Rights offered in the Netherlands, and its integration of issues of conflict and human rights in a single Master’s programme is unique in both Europe and North America.
