Objectives - To meet the growing demand from students and mid-career professionals to develop skills to manage the many complex ways in which media interact with conflict, peace and security.
- To inspire new thinking about media coverage of conflict on international and local levels.
- To help students develop critical thinking around issues such as objectivity and ethics in news reporting and news gathering.
- To educate in how free, responsible media can help prevent conflict and build peaceful societies -and in so doing provide the international community/employers with informed individuals.

Deadline for applications The application deadline is 28 February. Documents that arrive after the deadline will be reviewed for the following academic year. Notifications of admission will be sent by e-mail on 31 March.
Application procedure The Admission period at UPEACE opens on April 1. Applicants must send the on-line application as the first step of the process, followed by the application package that must contain all the supporting documentation described on this page. This package must arrive at UPEACE on the established deadline.

Applicants must make sure to include all documents in the package. Incomplete application packages will not be processed.
