Objetivos
The Programme aims to produce graduates with:
- deep knowledge and understanding of human rights and development, both in theory and
practice, through an interdisciplinary approach and be able to link human rights with the political,
economic, social and cultural contexts;
- capacity to analyse and develop a body of knowledge on human rights and development that
is applicable to any professions; and
- capability, awareness and willingness to stabilize human rights in the society.

Requisitos de admisión
Plan A (2) focuses on academic skills and research. The students do not need to have
working experiences. Their analytical skills on human rights and development issues will be developed and strengthened through conducting research for their thesis.
1.1 Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any field with a cumulative GPA of at least
2.50 or equivalent.
1.2 Preference will be given to candidates with human rights or related experiences
1.3 Exceptions to the above qualifications may be made by the Programme Committee and
the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies
2. In Plan B, the students are not required to write a thesis. The Programme will strengthen
the students' academic capabilities through analysis of human rights and development issues
based on the students' own experiences. The candidates who wish to enroll in this plan, thus, need
to acquire experiences on human rights and/or development.
2.1 Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any field with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50
or equivalent.
2.2 Have at least 3 years working experience in human rights or social development.
2.3 Exceptions to the above qualifications may be made by the Programme Committee and the
Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies
