DTP has integrated content on the rights of persons with disabilities into its capacity building programs, encouraged program applications from disabled peoples organisations (DPOs), considered disability in relation to access to training program venues and accommodation and in the preparation of training materials. DTP has actively been working with DPOs on developing a capacity building program for advocates focusing on promoting and implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
