Name Intensive Course on Justiciability of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights

Objectives This one-week intensive course is meant to offer the participants an opportunity to develop specialist-level knowledge in the field of international human rights treaties on economic and social rights, in particular in the issue of their justiciability at the national and international level.

Methodology used The course is composed of lectures, moot court exercises and an optional written examination.
Degree/Certificate Those who successfully complete the course, including the written examination, will receive a Diploma equivalent to 10 ECTS credits. With no written examination, the participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance equivalent to 2 ECTS credits.
Number of participants The number of participants is restricted to 30.

Tuition/Accommodation The course fee is EUR 900. The fee is EUR 700 for those who make their own housing arrangements. Students at Åbo Akademi University and the University of Turku are exempted from the fee.
