Objectives This session permits about three hundred participants from nearly one hundred of countries, both to enhance and perfect their academic knowledge and to be confronted with the reality of diverse experiences.

Content The program of the session will be composed of :
•Introductory conferencesin French and English. The courses will deal with the following subjects : the foundation, the history and the anthropology of human rights
•Thematic courses are taught in French and English ; the theme varies from year to year
•Fundamental courses taught in three languages in a parallel fashion: French, English, Spanish
• Subjects treated are : the international systems of human rights protection, humanitarian law, international criminal law and refugee law.

Degree/Certificate ticipants having successfully passed the final written exam, destined at verifying participants’ general knowledge acquired during the session, will receive a certificate.

Admission requirements Candidates must meet the following requirements:
• A mastery of French or English, the two official languages of the session, as well as an adequate working knowledge of the other language to follow courses and debates.
• At least a university degree demonstrating four years of study (Masters, or Masters 1 or equivalent)
• Exceptionally, attest to a solid experience in the field of human rights acquired in governmental agencies, in inter or non-governmental organisations, or possess comparable experience.
Scholarship In exceptional cases, financial assistance can be obtained in order to cover some
of the costs to participate in the session.
