Objectives The Human Rights Program provides theoretical and practical training for future scholars and professionals in human rights, with special emphasis on the legal aspects of human rights protection. The Human Rights program benefits from close cooperation with the university community, the Open Society Institute and the Open Society Justice Initiative.

he Human Rights MA Program addresses the interests of those lawyers and non-lawyers who are interested in the theoretical and policy implications of the human rights protection and advocacy.

Admission requirements Applicants to all programs (Human Rights MA/LLM, Comparative Constitutional Law LLM, International Business Law LLM) must meet the general CEU admissions requirements. Applicants to the Human Rights MA Program must have at least a BA by the time they start studies at CEU.
Scholarship Full or partial financial aid is awarded on the basis of departmental academic merit ranking and the applicant's selection of the two financial aid packages.
