Objectives The lectures will deal with International Criminal Law is all its aspects, from substantive crimes (genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and aggression) to general principles (including modes of liability and the role of victims) to enforcement. The programme also includes an exercise on cross-examination techniques and a Moot Court competition, as well as visits to the ICC, the ICTY and the Peace Palace. The participants will receive a certificate of participation after completion of the programme.

Delivered by Professionals from various international courts and tribunals, such as the International Criminal Court (ICC), the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and influential scholars contribute to this course.
Application procedure To register, please send the completed registration form to grotiuscentre@cdh.leidenuniv.nl. Please add a motivation letter, your curriculum vitae and a list of courses you took in the field.
Admission requirements The intended audience are (nearly) graduated law students and young professionals with an obvious interest in international criminal law.
Tuition/Accommodation (Law) students and young professionals are invited to apply. Tuition fees for professionals: € 1500. Tuition fees for students: € 1250.
